Gretchen is the family cat.  She likes to chase mice, but she is too big to fit through their tiny door.  Gretchen moves closer and closer to catching Gilbert, but just as she reaches out Gilbert slides through his hole in the wall.  Gretchen uses a rack and pinion gear set to chase Gilbert the mouse.
